FIBER ARTS ACCESS, EQUITY, & DIVERSITY GOALS:
Distribute FREE Give a Stitch Kits to teach knitting, crochet, spinning, weaving, dyeing, and beyond, in the inaugural Collective box and by request (mail, drop off, pick up, you name it!).
Establish a fiber arts access ethic in Madison’s Willy Street neighborhood through free provision and exchange of fiber arts supplies in the inaugural Collective.
Develop and distribute Learn to Knit, Learn to Crochet, and more free patterns, called the Give A Stitch Series, online, in print, and in person.
Establish a worldwide flock of neighborhood- and donation-based Collectives. Collectives are standalone, boxes that offer a free fiber arts supply exchange + no-cost, learn to stitch kits.
Provide in-person instruction to teach knitting, crochet, spinning, weaving, dyeing, and more to the public, at no cost to you.
